Technology In Producing

Being a music producer isn't exactly an easy job especially with the technology involved. Usually, you need instruments and the most important is the piano, but other instruments that most producers carry are guitars and bass guitars.
Then, comes the mixing and the recording and beat making software. None of these things are easy to use and they all take getting used to. The mixer is especially complicated because it hase a bunch of switches and knobs that you need to learn about and you have to know exactly what they are used for so you can get the best sound out of your music.
The beat making and recording software is complicated, too, because there is a lot to learn and making beats takes time and patience. It can take days to make one beat. Technology in producing is pretty advanced and complicated, so, if you plan on being a producer, you need the time, and patience to do so.
This is how producers use technology and how complicated it is. Some producers spend days in the studio. Some, like rapper Ice Cube, even sleep in their studio. Being a producer also takes commitment, you have to be willing to do only this on some days because it really is hard work, but hard work always pays off!

Consequences To Drugs

In the beginning of Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis, he talks about sitting in his house in California and looking over the mountain ranges and as he does, he is interrupted by a knock on the door. It is a nurse that has come to inject ozone into his bloodstream. She does this because he used to experiment with different types of heroin, cocaine, speed, and once even LSD. In the early 90's he found out that he caught hepatitis C from his drug experimentation, so a nurse would come often to inject ozone into his arm because it cleared away the hepatitis C virus.
After, he talks about when he was younger and when he was still experimenting with drugs and how he used to always hang out with his Mexican drug dealer, Mario, and how he almost got stabbed trying to get drugs in a scary neighborhood hours before he was supposed to perform in a steakhouse in Arizona.
